Made in Apple Developer Academy at PUC-PR
A simple, lightweight, yet functional tool created while I was learning about UI design for smaller screens and interactions on smartwatches like the Apple Watch. It features a basic dice-rolling mechanic, enhanced by motion design, haptics, and sound effects, making it particularly useful for tabletop games such as D&D and RPGs.
Project Goal
Learning how to design for small smart devices like the Apple Watch: their constraints, the interactions they support, and how to translate that into a simple but effective app.
Final user interface
The final user interface consists of 6 dice options, designed for players of games like Dungeons & Dragons who want an alternative to real dice and dice trays that take up space and clutter the table.
The dice featured were d4, d6, d8, d10, d12, and d20 (the numbers refer to the number of sides). The user simply tapped the screen, triggering an animation and a sound effect for added feedback, and a random number was selected.

Results
After launching on the App Store in late 2023, I sold 24 units of my paid app between 2023 and 2025 without any advertising spend, relying solely on organic engagement.
